for this tutorial i have used the program psp 9

for this tut you will need the following

i have used the beautiful scrap kit  Unicorn Realm by FWTags

plug in : mura's meister /copies /encircle

and two masks of choice the  masks i used are by  Trese

you can find them  Here

and a font of choice 

lets get started 

open a new raster layer  1000x1000

we will resize later 

on your first work layer  flood fill black  choosing a mask of your choice  go to layers /load save  mask and find the mask you have  chosen 

right click on the mask layer in your layer pallette and  choose merge group

 go to adjust  /add noise  and put the  percentage to 100%

now duplicate your mask  layer and  go to image /flip/mirror

find a nice paper from your kit and again choosing another  mask  follow the instructions as above 

right down to the image flip / mirror

go to your  kit and find a nice flower  a swirl type one 

copy and paste as new layer then resize by 60%

go to plug ins /muras meister and choose copies /encircle

find another flower  and again repeat now  the same with mura's meister  same settings

place the  second flower circle  over the first one

find your tube and  making  sure you have highlighted the layer below your first flower layer copy and paste as new layer 

duplicate this layer and  bring the duplicate layer to the top

using your eraser tool erase out any of the bottom of the tube that is showing over your flower circles 

i was lucky enough to have some pretty sparkles in my kit and i again did the same 

copy paste as new layer and  plug in mura's meister  /encircle

now if you wish you can  add a few  more elements to your  tag  once you are satisfied with the  tag you have created 

make up some word art to go with your graphic 

 add your name and  copyright and url of your artists also a licence if a ptu tube 

layers merge /merge visible /duplicate on your original layer  resize all layers unticked  and choose 85%

on your duplicate layer resize by 80%

back to original layer 

and  go to adjust blur gaussian blur and choose the amount of 23 %

now you can again merge /merge visible 

right click the top of your work area and choose copy 

go to image /resize /change the  percent to pixels and then choose  600 on the highest of the two numbers showing  make sure you click on the box all layers  click ok 

thats it your done you can now  save your tag as a png and  show it off

lets get started 

open a new raster layer 1000x1000

i know this is large but we will resize at the end 

open the elements  folder in your purchased kit 

and find a nice swirl or  ribbon  similar to the one i used 

copy paste onto your  work area as a new raster layer 

resize if needed

effects/ plugins 

mura's meister /encircle 

use the default setting 

back to the folder and  open the papers folder if in a different folder 

copy / paste as new layer and drag down below your encircle  layer 

now the tricky fiddly bit 

using you eraser tool  carefully 

 erase any of the paper showing around the outside  of your swirl encircled layer 

next find a nice flower and resize by 60%   resize all layer unchecked ( no tick in the box )

again back to effects/plug ins/ mura's meister encircle 

place this inside the first circle you made 

back to your  swirl circle and  with the same flower again resize  another 60%  copy/paste as new layer 

right click on the small flower layer  and 

choose duplicate 

do this using the first small flower  each time until you have covered a part of the swirl where the  small flower is effective

find  some more elements that you think will enhance the  tag

 i used the  bag, the heart on a chain and the balloon from  the kit 

resize to what ever you think looks good on your tag 

find your tube you wish to use  there are tubes provided in the kit  so you could use them they are very cute  but i wanted to give a different perspective to this tutorial as you can see below  when i made the second tag using both a tube and other elements 

copy and paste the tube as a new raster layer 

place it  in the center of the tag  making sure it is the top layer on your layer pallette

back to your kit and find another contrasting paper and copy paste  as new layer 

drag below all other layer  so the paper layer is now bottom layer 

go to layers load save mask and choose your mask 

once you have chosen your mask click ok 

if you dont like that mask

 remember at every stage  you can use the back button and change it 

on mask layer in your pallette right click and choose  merge  group

now go to effects 3d effects and choose drop shadow from the list

make sure you put the tick in the box marked  shadow on  new layer 

once you have  done this  choose your paper mask layer and  duplicate as above 

on duplicate layer  active 

go to image /mirror/flip

on shadow layer again duplicate 

go to image /mirror/flip

now add  word art of your choice 

you can use word art  you have downloaded or you can make your own like i have 

pick out  the words you have typed that you want to make stand out and use  the  first font

 ( script type)

for the other words choose a normal font  or less scripted 

you can see mine  if it helps

layers/merge  visible

duplicate the complete tag and resize the  original tag  by 85%

on the duplicate  layer  resize by 80%

on your original tag layer 

go to adjust blur gaussian blur by  22.00

go to image  /resize and change percent to pixels

and  tick the  resize all layers

now your tag and the  layers will be the size you want for your tag

once this is done  then add your copyright for the tube 

and if needed your licence number 

dont forget the url of the artist

if you are using a tube from the kit  please make sure you use the 

copyright name and url of the kit designer 

in this instance it will be  FWtags and her blog address

only if you have used a tube  from the kit though 

remember you must always  honor the artist

and use their own copyright and url  with licence if a  PTU tube

How to Make a simple cluster frame

OK lets get started 

first thing read the tou of the designer 

make sure she allows  cluster frames  from her kits 

if she doesn't state this

 then best to message or email and make sure you are not violating her tou

remember to ask if it OK to use both elements and papers  for the frame

once you know it is OK to  make your cluster frame  from the  kit

open your psp and open a new raster layer 1000x1000

i know its large but you can re size later 

OK as long as you have permision 

open a paper you like from the kit

copy /paste as a new layer into your work area 

grab your  preset tool  rectangular 

this is the shape i am using you can of course 

use any of the other shapes 

width  60.00

draw out your rectangle to the size you want but 

make sure it isn't overlapping the edge of your paper 

right click in your layer pallette 

choose convert to raster layer 

go to selections/select all

selections /float

selections/defloat

selections/invert 

now click on your  paper layer to make it active 

hit delete on your keyboard 

you should now have something like this 

now you can delete your rectangle or  shape you chose 

working on your paper layer make it active 

it looks flat lets make it look a little more 3D

go to selections/select all/selectionsfloat/selections defloat

selections modify

choose contract 

contract by 14

back to selections and choose invert 

selections /modify/choose feather 

feather by 18

dont worry if it seems  most of the marching ants have gone i promise it will work

go to adjust Hue and Saturations and choose Hue/Saturation/Lightness

drag the right hand slider down to -20

selections select none

your frame should now look like this 

you have now basically made your frame 

you can now   add your elements 

to complete you cluster frame
